Blooms of Boyfriend Shorts for Spring

We could have guessed that after a winter long of boyfriend jeans, spring would bloom the 'boyfriend shorts' trend! The look is meant to be baggier and loose which means, if you've shred some pounds and still have old denim laying around, pull out your fabric scissors and cut to the trend!

True Religion's Riley Boyfriend Fit in their River Boat wash is one of my favorite boyfriend looks for the spring.

Joe's Jeans Loose Rolled style is rugged and distressed, just like your boyfriends jeans!

Ann Taylor LOFT has a great boyfriend short that I like to consider "loosely feminine." Interpretation: just enough slouchy boyfriend look without going too off course from your feminine style.

Target makes the trend oh-so-affordable with their Mossimo style in a vintage wash. For only $19.99, you won't even blink to give this look a try!

The high-end British label, Liberty of London, is famous for splashing its textile designs for brands like Hermes, Chanel, Theory and Opening Ceremony. Now, two popular and more affordable outlets are offering a collection fit for your budget. Liberty of London is bringing its kaleidoscopic florals to Target and MAC Cosmetics for every consumer, everywhere.

Target will carry a variety of 300 items in 25 different Liberty prints spanning from apparel and stationary to gardening and home goods, with prices ranging from $4-$200. Vibrant colors like kelly green, fuchsia pinks, and sunshine yellows penetrate the collection for a fresh spring aura. Patterns mock the high-end labels heritage with prints that are fun, sophisticated, colorful and refreshing. The eye-candy collection makes it hard to choose just one so have fun mix-n-matching different looks!

MAC cosmetics will offer Liberty-esque makeup and accessories inspired by "Brit It" icons like Sienna Miller. The 'capsule collection' will include a fresh spring offering of colors that will stand on its own or compliment your Liberty wardrobe from Target! Lip Glass, Blush, Nail Lacquer, Eye-shadows, Beauty Powder and more will be offered in fresh Liberty colors and containers, which can all be kept compact in a limited edition Liberty of London graphic make-up bag.

The entire collection launched nationwide at Target and MAC Cosmetics on March 14th so go get your Libery look today before this limited edition sells out!

Jean Paul Gaultier for Target

Leading couture designers continue to trinkle their way down into quick-fashion ready-to-wear houses by offering more economical and affordable lines for the average consumer. Roberto Cavalli and Jimmy Choo designed lines for H&M, and Zac Posen is nearing his launch of affordable sportswear under the name Z Spoke.

Target's, 'Target Boutique' famously does the same. We have seen fashion flashes at Target from Isaac Mizrahi, Stephen Sprouse (popular for making Louis Vuitton's graffiti prints famous), Mossimo Giannulli, and Cynthia Rowley.  Now, French Haute Couture designer, Jean Paul Gaultier, joins the list of icons this season with his interpretation of wallet-friendly fashion.

Looks include belted trenches, leather moto jackets, swimwear, printed dresses.

Sport a funkier style with tattooed leggings and draped tops.

Flirty Rebel? Perhaps. With the combination of a Spanish sundress and tattoed sleeves, you could say just that!

Shop the collection now at your local Target store or Target Online.
